source url De Rotterdam, a new high-rise building in the centre of Rotterdam, was designed by OMA as a vertical city in which the elevator serves as a passageway to other parts of the building and a place to meet in transit.

The design aim was reinstating the infrastructure of movement to prompt interaction between people and all offices present and facilitate meeting spaces so that they upgrade the time spent waiting to a more useful pause.
