This Progressive Office Laboratory, initiated by Studio Makkink & Bey and PROOFF, studies on subjects related to work, which form the basis of product development.
Through research and development a team of designers, architects and researchers theorize, outline and model design specials that fit into the domain of work.
Part of the laboratory is a digital publication, PROOFFLab Magazine, where office related phenomena and commissioned essays are gathered.
PROOFFLab has been exhibited amongst others during Salone del Mobile in 2013 and 2015, at Z33 art center and Dutch Design Week. PROOFFLab Magazine was nominated as a finalist for Dutch Design Awards 2015.
