3235 Industrious Artefacts
Guest curators Rianne Makkink and Jurgen Bey address the evolution of production processes and small industries through the work of Dutch and international designers.
The presented work is grouped around three thematic sections: local resources, industrial processes and imaginative hybrid objects. The exhibition draws on the Museum’s historic collection complemented with inventive machines by young designers. This interaction between past and present-day expressions of design, illustrates how design affects every day life.
